NerdLacquer-Smoke Dragon

As many of you know, the recent NerdLacquer restock on Ninja Polish was a complete disaster.  By some miracle, I managed to snag a bottle of Smoke Dragon!

NerdLacquer Smoke Dragon is a highly complex polish featuring a matte charcoal base, purple and emerald green microshimmer, black, silver, and bright purple microglitter, medium black hexes, small silver squares, and small and medium silver hex glitters.  The shimmers in this polish behave kind of strangely...most of the time, you just see purple, but in direct sunlight or very bright LED lighting, an emerald green shimmer appears.  I wouldn't call it a duochrome, since angle doesn't seem to matter.  It seems to appear purely depending on the type of light hitting it.  Very odd, and very pretty.

Like most NerdLacquer polishes, Smoke Dragon doesn't have the best suspension, so you'll want to give it a good shake and leave it upside down for a bit before you apply it.  Formula was decent, though a little thick.  Dry time was fast.  It dries to a matte finish and I definitely recommend adding a glossy top coat It took just one coat of Seche Vite to achieve a smooth, shiny finish.

Showing off the green (ugh, I need a better camera)

You can kind of see the glitters better here
