Jindie Nails: JINDIE-Pendence

Happy Fourth of July to all my American readers!  I have once again taken the lazy route and used a patriotic indie polish rather than doing patriotic nail art.  However, since Americans are stereotyped as being lazy, I will argue that I'm just being extra patriotic!  ;-)

Jindie Nails JINDIE-Pendence was a numbered (I got #54) Limited Edition polish released a few weeks ago.  It features a white crelly base filled with an insane mix of matte and metallic red, white, blue, and silver glitter.  It's got stars, circles, diamonds, hexagons, squares, rectangles...seriously, it's nuts.  I had no trouble at all getting even the huge shapes to come out!  While I had to do a little pushing and dabbing, the glitter mostly just flowed easily onto the nail.  You really couldn't ask for a better formula, as far as giant-glitter-packed polishes go.  I chose to layer 2 coats of JINDIE-Pendence over 1 coat of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, but it looks like JINDIE-Pendence could reach full opacity in 3 or so coats.  Dry time was average.

While JINDIE-Pendence is no longer available, Jindie Nails has plenty of other polishes ($5 for 8mL or $10 for 15mL) available at their online store, Llarowe, Ninja Polish, Harlow & Co, Mei Mei's Signatures, Femme Fatale, and Norway Nails.  To stay up-to-date on the latest Jindie Nails news, Like their Facebook page.

  1. This glitter is perfect for today! What a fun glitter with all the different shapes :)

  2. Very pretty! Honestly, if I'd had a patriotic enough polish, I would have done my nails like you did, haha. Unfortunately, I didn't have one, so I had to do a design even though I was feeling soooo lazy, ugh.

    1. Go to Icing and get Patriotic Princess, so you'll have something for the future! I still have to try that polish, been sitting in my drawer for ages lol.
