Quick note: This post is a day late due to major pain in my mouth. Pretty sure it's a wisdom tooth. I've been taking lots of photos and I'm going to try to get some posts lined up just in case I end up having oral surgery. If I can't get things done in time and I go quiet for a week, it will be because I had the tooth removed.
Hey folks! I'm super happy to be showing you guys a polish made to benefit Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, a charity which focuses on raising money for pediatric cancer research! Raphaelle from indie brand Digital Nails has already donated $1,000 (sales of charity polishes+her own personal donation) to ASLF, and if the rest of the charity polishes sell, she will be able to donate even more! Two polishes ("I'm A Survivor" and "When Life Gives You Lemons") were created, but I only have When Life Gives You Lemons.
When Life Gives You Lemons is a clear glitter topper containing a completely crazy mix of big purple circle glitters, gold holo circle glitters (these are amazing), gold holo stars, and a ton of smaller purple and gold glitters. It is extremely dense, to the point that you won't be able to see much of whatever base color you layer it over. It was a little tricky to work with, but not a nightmare. I did not have to fish for any of the fun shapes. Dry time was average. Shown is one coat of When Life Gives You Lemons over a black creme.
Blurry to show sparkle
When Life Gives You Lemons (and also I'm A Survivor) cost $15 for 15mL and are available at Digital Nails' Etsy shop. These polishes are numbered limited editions, so be sure to grab them ASAP! To stay up-to-date on the latest from Digital Nails, Like the brand's Facebook page.
