Elevation Polish: Gobi

Regarding the "For Ronan" Giveaway

The Good News:  11 of you have donated to The Ronan Thompson Foundation!  Good job, you guys!  As for the rest of you, there is still plenty of time to make a donation and enter!  Remember, even a very small donation is appreciated, and you are welcome to edit your screenshot or do some strategic cropping if you don't want to disclose your donation amount.  So get those entries in!

The Bad News:  The last two people to enter the giveaway (initials K.K. and E.B., both of whom have been contacted) have not submitted their proof of donation.  Any entrant who does not provide proof of donation will be disqualified.  Please, folks, read the instructions before you enter and make sure you complete all requirements!

In keeping with the theme of going gold for childhood cancer awareness, I have a rather funky little gold polish to show you!

Elevation Polish Gobi is a sort of "dirty" gold with intense green shimmer and a very light amount of holographic pigment.   The holographic pigment doesn't create any kind of holographic effect, but it does add a little depth and sparkle.  Due to the shimmery nature of this polish, you can end up with visible brushstrokes if you apply it too hastily.  Normal, careful application should result in a nice finish.  Dry time was average.  I used two coats.

This photo is a bit dark, but you can really see the green shimmer

What do you think?  This is definitely one of those oddball colors that won't appeal to everyone, but it's very unique!  If you like edgy and unusual shades, this is definitely one to consider.

Most Elevation Polish colors cost $8.50 for 15mL and can be purchased at the Elevation Polish online store and on Llarowe ($10.50).  Elevation Polish online store restocks happen on the 7th (9pm Central) and 22nd (9am Central) of every month.  To stay up-to-date with Elevation Polish news, follow the brand's blog.

Product purchased by me.
