Anne Kathleen Golden Fields Collection: Ailís and Fidelma

Press Sample

Hey folks!  Today I have a new-to-me indie to show you!  These sparkly green beauties are part of the latest Golden Fields collection from Anne Kathleen.

Ailís is a rich green jelly filled with tiny matte green and gold holographic glitters.  Perfect for St. Patrick's Day!  My camera didn't want to pick up on the gold glitters (it made most of them look green), but I can assure you that they show up quite nicely in person!  I found the formula to be too thick, but adding thinner helped.  Those of you who have short nails may find one coat to be sufficient, but I used two coats.  Dry time was average.

This photo is generally terrible and I don't remember taking it, but it does prove that the gold glitters show through the green base

Fidelma is a sheer gold filled with sea green hex glitters.  You could probably use it as a topper for lighter-colored polishes (I tried it over a dark green and didn't like it), but I prefer to wear it on its own.  This polish comes off rather frosty in photos, but is pretty and delicate in person!  The formula was on the thicker side, but I did not need to add thinner.  2-3 coats are needed for full opacity.  Dry time was average.
